HYPER JAPAN is delighted to be working with the Japan-UK Season of Culture to bring Boccia to Festival 2019.
Boccia is a Paralympic sport played by individuals, pairs or teams competing against each other. Originally designed for individuals with severe physical disabilities, the game has branched out to include all disabilities and even able-bodied people can play Boccia in a social setting as long as they stick to the rules and stay seated during play.
Brimsdown Boccia will hold a 30-minute demonstration match on each day of HYPER JAPAN Festival 2019 after which visitors will be able to try out for themselves what it’s like to throw the Boccia balls.
