If you’ve ever walked around Tokyo on a weekday morning, you’ll notice a lot of ladies carrying cloth lunchbags. What you may not have noticed is that there is a definite hierarchy in the lunchbags. Near the bottom are the Bags for Life from the convenience store. At the top, well, at the top are the handmade bags with custom-tailored designs.

In these sessions, you’ll get to design your very own “ecobag,” a.k.a. “bag for life!” Using a variety of craft foam stamps, this is your chance to create your very own design! Go for a traditional Mt. Fuji design, or a quirky onigiri rice ball motif. Perhaps you’re more of a tulip person? No matter what your design, walk proud in the knowledge that if you were in Japan, you’d be at the top of the hierarchy of lunch bags!
