After the excitement of the opening Friday, HYPER JAPAN Festival 2019 starts strong on Saturday morning with a screening of rugby-themed anime ALL OUT!! on the HYPER Live! Stage.
Later in the morning, Clearspring are back in the HYPER Kitchen with British-Japanese chef Koj creating delicious dishes and showing how to make them for yourself.
Meanwhile, on the HYPER Live! Stage, CosPlayer, anime-lover, voice actress and singer choco, all the way from Kyushu, western Japan, will be performing her original songs followed by another belting show from Rugby host-city Fukuoka’s special ambassador Naomi Suzuki.
The supremely talented Mitsuhiro Arita will be back next on the HYPER Live! Stage to talk more about his work as an illustrator, designer and creator working on Pokemon and Final Fantasy among others in a long career in the Japanese art world.
Up next on the HYPER Live! Stage is the UK debut show from Japanese Shamisen Rock Band KUNI-KEN whose unique mix of the traditional and the modern creates an amazing sound and is sure to be a big hit with HYPER JAPAN audiences.
Now into the afternoon, we are pleased to present the Sake Seminar in the HYPER Kitchen. Anyone interested in sake or Japanese food in general will definitely find this fascinating and should try to make time to pop in.
The final event of the morning session on the HYPER Live! Stage will be the incredible HYPER J-Style Collection Fashion Show. This show is a celebration of Japan’s eclectic and exciting fashion scene and has to be a must-see for any fashionistas at HYPER JAPAN Festival 2019.
With such a packed morning of Japanese fun, its definitely going to be time for a quick break before Saturday’s afternoon session begins.
