With HYPER JAPAN 2014 just around the corner, Nintendo is busy putting the final preparations in place ahead of its big game showcase. Visitors will have a chance to get their hands on a raft of games for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS & 2DS, some of which will be playable by the UK public for the first time including Super Smash Bros. on both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

At HYPER JAPAN there will be four key areas on the Nintendo stand for gamers to enjoy: Wii U, Nintendo 3DS & 2DS, Tomodachi Life and merchandise from the Nintendo UK Online Store.

Visitors to the Nintendo stand will also have the chance to go hunting for beasts in Capcom’s Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on Nintendo 3DS as well as take an exclusive sneak peak at amiibo, Nintendo’s recently announced NFC-activated interactive figures. Not only will there be the opportunity to get hands on with some pre-release games, but guests will be able to burn rubber with their friends while turning their world upside-down with the gravity-defying Mario Kart 8 on Wii U.

Visitors will also be able to buy a range of merchandise normally only available on the Nintendo UK Online Store.

Remember to bring along your Nintendo 3DS or 2DS so you can play games with other users, increase your StreetPass encounters in games such as StreetPass Mii Plaza and enjoy Puzzle Swap and StreetPass Quest; Tomodachi Life players will also be able to exchange rare items or explorers via StreetPass.

Nintendo set to showcase latest Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games at HYPER JAPAN

Nintendo will be returning to the HYPER JAPAN expo in 2014 to showcase the latest Wii U and Nintendo 3DS titles. Fans can look forward to getting their hands on some of the newest Nintendo games when HYPER JAPAN 2014 comes to Earls Court, London 25 – 27 July.

As well as being able to step into the world of your favourite Nintendo franchises, with many new titles launching over the next year for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, the Nintendo stand at HYPER JAPAN 2014 will be the best place to get a first look and hands on time with a number of exclusive games. The official Nintendo UK Online Store will also be hosting a pop-up store at the event so fans can buy Nintendo merchandise and exclusive goodies while at the expo. Nintendo was founded in Kyoto, Japan, and has been making video games hardware and software for over 30 years, in 2014 Nintendo will be back at HYPER JAPAN to celebrate its Japanese heritage by hosting a bigger and better stand and more activities than ever across the whole show. Nintendo will also be participating in a number of showcases on the main stage to keep fans entertained throughout the event.

If you already own a Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS then make sure you bring your console along to HYPER JAPAN as you will not only be able to increase your StreetPass hits and help complete your accomplishments but also play multiplayer games with other Nintendo fans.
